Privacy policy

What this website collects

Browsing this site collects nothing. There is no analytics platform, no advertising pixel, no session cookie and no third-party tracker. The site’s content security policy would block an external script even if one were added by accident.

One thing is stored in your browser: your choice of light or dark theme, under the key tekhx-theme. It never leaves your device and it is not sent to us. Clearing your site data removes it.

What the contact form collects

If you send us a message we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, your company if you gave one, the enquiry type you chose and your message. Our server records the originating IP address briefly in order to rate limit the form against automated abuse.

That message is emailed to one fixed address inside Tekhx. A copy of it is emailed back to you as an acknowledgement. We use it to reply to you and, if we work together, as part of the project record.

What we never do with it

• We do not sell, rent or share it with anyone for their own use.
• We do not add you to a newsletter or an automated sales sequence.
• We do not build a profile of you or enrich your details from other sources.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months. Where we do work together, the correspondence is kept for as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting obligations require, and then deleted.

Client systems we build and host

This policy covers this website only. Where we build or host a system for a client, that client is the controller of the data in it and their own privacy notice governs it; we act on their instructions as a processor under our agreement with them. If you are a user of a system we built for somebody else, ask them, and they can reach us.

Where it is processed

Our infrastructure is self-hosted on hardware we operate, behind Cloudflare. Email is delivered through our own mail provider. No part of your enquiry is passed to an advertising or analytics service.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to support@tekhx.com and we will answer within thirty days. This is offered to everyone who asks, regardless of where you live.

If you are in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) gives you these rights and you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not quietly revise it.
